  The Swing Away Kit is an optional accessory for the SC 400 and SC 500 that swings the carrier away from the rear hatch back or rear door of the vehicle, providing full access to the vehicle without removing the wheelchair carrier. The Swing Away fits in between the carrier and the vehicle’s 2″ receiver hitch and uses a pin system to lock the device closed during transport.
